“WIN THE WINNABLE WHILE THEY ARE WINNABLE”
I would like to introduce myself Rev. V. S .C. Prasad, founder
of Gateway Ministries in India, I am leading this ministry as
Secretary & correspondent and also as a pastor at Rajahmundry in
INDIA .I have been in the ministry for The expansion of the
kingdom of our Lord Jesus for the last 6 years in Andhra
Pradesh, India. I am here through this media to bring forth to
you all about my ministry, my family and also my personal
Testimony for God’s Glory.
I was born and brought up in an orthodox traditional Christian
family. My father has been pastor for faithful flocks in
Rajahmundry since $$$$$$ .He started his ministry with a few
members in the beginning. He used to walk 30 to 40kms a day to
visit believer’s everyday on bare foot. After a few years God
blessed him with a cycle and accelerated his ministry and
developed to form an equipped church in 80’s. God blessed my
father with 3 children. Out of 3, two sons were dedicated for
God’s service. I was given as the first gift to my parents hence
the burden of taking forward the ministry was shared on my
shoulders in my early life.
During my early life though I was (my life) offered to God I was
the most in disciplined and remained unaccountable to the sight
of God. I was ignorantly enjoying both the earth and heavenly
creams of joy. But there was a difference in its originality. I
used to feel that I was enjoying the creams of joy of heavenly
kingdom on Sundays but it was only my imagination. Gradually I
was drawing away from the reality of his blessings. I never
introspected for what I am and what I have to be. I tried my
self to envelope my dark life from the sight of man but I could
not do the same from the sight of the one who knows me even
before my existence in the womb of my mother. My innocent trails
of measuring the patience of the Lord had been failed and made
me to stand infront of the throne of Grace as culprit for
crossing the limits in disobedience to my Creator.
One day I was inspired and was made to go through the Bible by
force .As was going through the book of Isaiah 6th chapter. In
the progressive physical and formal Studies I was stopped at the
word in the Bible saying “WHOM SHALL I SEND FOR AND WHO SHALL
GO FOR ME” This particular verse made me to think of the one
(Jesus) who called my father for His service is so faithful even
up to this date. That all just because my father was obedient to
His call. Since my father obeyed His call God has been using him
as a righteous vessel and mighty instrument in different parts
of India.
Hence I started questioning myself. Who am I? What I was
expected to do? What am I doing? How am I going to face the up
coming consequences and what will be my end. “Praise be the Holy
Spirit God” Because by hearing my cry for truth He opened my
Spiritual eyes. And the fire from Heaven came down and Cleansed
me and confirmed the call of God is in just for me. It was the
exact turning point in my life which changed all my life style
to be a Christ centered man and there was a immediate response
from my surrounding people who had found in me a radical change
in my life. The very day I’ve stopped my dark life and bought a
cycle of step by step basis and moved on to the perishing world
to share the gospel of Jesus and His unchanging Love. From then
onwards God has been faithfully enough in fulfilling all my
needs both physically and spiritually and made me a comfortable
servant and also encouraging me every minute to go forward to
extend his kingdom. At present I am heading Gateway Ministries
India, and helping the poor and needy by physical and spiritual
God given substantial in turns I am doing the same to the
mankind.
Hence I request you to pray for me and I humbly obey you to
extend your help by suggestions and compliments to take forward
the burden that is laid upon my shoulders for Christ name and
also to be a blessing for many, now and in the days to come.
